美國《時代雜誌》（TIME）已跟知名加密貨幣資產管理公司 「灰度投資」（Grayscale Investments）結盟，雙方今夏將合作推出一系列的加密貨幣科普影片，為此，《時代雜誌》還同意接受以比特幣付款。
今（13）日稍早，Grayscale 執行長 Michael Sonnenshein 率先在推特上單方面宣布這段合作關係，他還指出，《時代雜誌》並不打算把收到的比特幣轉換成法幣套現，相反的，這家近百年企業還承諾，往後將持續在資產負債表上持有這些比特幣。

截至發稿時，官方雖未透露更多細節，但《時代雜誌》總裁 Keith Grossman 早些時候在推特上轉發了 Michael Sonnenshein 的貼文，為這次合作獻上祝福。
《時代雜誌》自 1923 年創刊以來，已被公認為是美國最重要的新聞雜誌之一，近期更積極參與加密貨幣市場。
今年 3 月，《時代雜誌》透過數位藝術品交易平台 SuperRare ，以 NFT 的形式拍賣 5 款值得紀念的雜誌封面，以及三款特別版的雜誌封面，分別為：「法幣死了嗎？」（Is Fiat Dead？）、「上帝死了嗎？」（Is God Dead？）、「真理死了嗎？」（Is Truth Dead？）。
3 月 22 日， Keith Grossman 在推特上宣布，未來 30 天內，《時代雜誌》將開放讀者以加密貨幣支付數位訂閱的費用。同日，《時代雜誌》便在 LinkedIn 上大舉徵才，招募「對加密貨幣友善的財務總監」。
